The
National Cadet Corps (NCC) was set up in the institution in
2019.
The institution has an active
NCC unit. At present
Mr. Tapan Sarkar (S.A.C.T., Department of Chemistry) is the CTO of this unit.
Students interested in joining the NCC should collect
Pre-Enrollment Form (Rupees 50/- Only) from the NCC Room of the institution housed in the ground floor of the
A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Block (Science Building).
Eligible criteria for joining the
NCC:
- Candidates have to pass the Physical Measurement Test (PMT).
- Candidates have to pass Physical Efficiency Test (PET) [Eg.: Running, Sit-Up, Push Up, etc.]
- Candidates have to pass a written test on basic general knowledge.
- As per the above criteria a final merit list will be published.
- There will be a document verification session for shortlisted candidates.
