We are pleased to announce that a two-day International Seminar on the theme: “State of the Art: Exploring Concepts and Contexts across and beyond Disciplines” will be held in Dewan Abdul Gani College, Harirampur, Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal, India, on August 16-17, 2024.
Apart from in-person presentations, online paper presentations are also welcome.
This seminar will be organised by the Departments of English, Bengali, Arabic, and Sanskrit of Dewan Abdul Gani College, Harirampur, Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal, India, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Samsi College, Malda, West Bengal, India.

CONCEPT NOTE
Given its broad, multidisciplinary thematic scope, this seminar is intended to be an engaging platform for scholars, researchers, and enthusiasts from a wide range of disciplines to explore and discuss the dynamic landscape of language in the contemporary time.
Language is a continually evolving phenomenon. As we navigate the complexities of living in the 21st century – an era dominated by radical social changes and astounding advancements in the fields of science and technology – language continues to evolve, as reflected in the transitions and the transformations experienced globally.
We invite Abstract submissions (in English/ Bengali/ Arabic/ Sanskrit; 150-300 words)that explore the evolutionary dynamics of language and the myriad ways in which language continues to make, unmake, and remake humanity – encompassing but not limited to the following sub-themes:
