The Department of Physics  currently offers the following Undergraduate Courses:

UNDERGRADUATE COURSES:

 

1. 3-Year Degree / 4-Year Honours in Physics Curriculum and Credit Framework for Undergraduate Programmes (CCFUP) as per National Education Policy (NEP), 2020

The B.Sc. 3-Year Degree / 4-Year Honours in Physics is spread over 6 & 8 Semesters respectively.

 

2. 3-Year Degree General Course in Physics – Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) 

The B.Sc. General Course in Physics CBCS Syllabus is spread over 6 Semesters.

In addition to Compulsory courses (Language Cores and Ability Enhancement Compulsory Courses) a student has to select two disciplines as main disciplines (E.g., Discipline -A & Discipline-B) and one discipline as Generic Elective (GE) (Discipline-C).
