Computer Science CBCS Syllabus:

COMPUTER SCIENCE CBCS SYLLABUS

UNDERGRADUATE COURSES:

 

1. Computer Science Curriculum and Credit Framework for Undergraduate Programmes (CCFUP) as per National Education Policy (NEP), 2020

The B.Sc. 3-Year Degree / 4-Year Honours in Computer Science is spread over 6 & 8 Semesters respectively.

 

2.  B.Sc. in Computer Science (General) – CBCS (Choice-Based Credit System) 

The B.Sc. General Course in Computer Science CBCS Syllabus is spread over 6 Semesters.

In addition to Compulsory courses (Language Cores and Ability Enhancement Compulsory Courses) a student has to select two disciplines as main disciplines (E.g., Discipline -A & Discipline-B) and one discipline as Generic Elective (GE) (Discipline-C).

 

 

What are Add-on Courses?

Add-on courses are short-term courses offered by the institution. The minimum duration of these courses is 30 hours. These courses are usually offered as certificate courses to provide students with additional knowledge and information which are relevant to their respective fields of study. Some of the Add-on courses offered by the various departments of the college are multidisciplinary in nature and are focused on ability and skill enhancement of students.
